Most seasons begin in December and the runs are open weather-permitting.

  1. Camelback

They make snow here at this resort, so there is always an opportunity to go tubing when the winter months roll around. Children of all ages are welcomed, though kids under 33 inches in height will need to ride with their parents. Weekends and holidays offer extended 3-hour tubing sessions for added fun and the resort is open 7 days per week.

  1. Blue Mountain

Located in Palmerton, PA this snow tube resort is less than a 2-hour drive from Central NJ. They have three lifts installed to support 14 slides and three different levels of difficulty. You’ll find the tube runs near the base of the mountain near the lodge where lift tickets are purchased. It’s also one of the few resorts in the area which offers consistent night-time snow tubing hours.

  1. Alpine Mountain

With six fun chutes to use and extended hours offered on the weekends, this can be a fun place to go snow tubing if your family meets the minimum requirements. Only children 42 inches or taller are allowed and the kids must be able to tube alone. Hours can be limited sometimes as well, with most availability limited to Fridays from 1-9pm. The good news is that sessions start at just $19 each, so it is also fairly affordable.

  1. Shawnee Mountain

This snow tubing resort welcomes kids of all ages to enjoy the snow, with pricing starting at just $20 during the week. There are 5 slides, all of which are wide enough to accommodate tandem tubing. Snow making and grooming of the slides happens on a nightly basis. A conveyor lift is also available to get you back up to the top of the hill.
